THE COMMISSION PROCESS
Do you see something in the gallery that catches your eye, but you would like it personalized uniquely for you? That is where commissions come in!
Painting commissions is one of my favorite parts of the painting side of this business. Every time I work with a new customer, I am thrilled to hear how something they see in the gallery has stimulated their own creativity. I am so inspired by my customers!
Working with an artist to create a custom commission piece requires a certain amount of trust and good faith, because you do not see the product until after it is finished (it is different from going to a gallery and purchasing something hanging on the wall).
However, there is a tremendous advantage of commissioning: you have a say in the creation process, and the product is uniquely yours! Each commission process varies slightly depending on the customer's desires and ideas, but these general steps apply:

- I send you a quote (pricing is determined by size and detail of a piece), and you choose whether or not to move forward.
- I start painting! 20% downpayment is required for materials, 80% is due upon completion before delivery.
- I ship the product to you, and you enjoy for years to come.
