FLUTE LESSONS

Ms. Cawley maintains an active teaching studio, and she currently has some openings in her schedule! She offers online and in-person lessons in her home studio in Franklin, TN. She welcomes eager students of all levels, and she promises an encouraging, stimulating, and growing learning environment.When studying with Ms. Cawley, you will improve on the fundamentals of your tone production and work toward a more natural way of playing. She is a big believer in playing with a healthy setup to minimize risk of injury and maximize efficiency, longevity, and overall enjoyment. ABOUT THE TEACHER

Ms. Cawley has been classically trained at some of the finest collegiate and conservatory institutions in the country. She excelled to the top of her class and was a concerto competition winner, both at the University of Alabama during her undergraduate studies and at the New England Conservatory of Music during her graduate studies. Her primary teachers include Renée Krimsier and Diane Schultz, and she has also studied in masterclasses with storied flutists including Paula Robison, Elizabeth Rowe, Keith Underwood, and Susan Milan. She is the Adjunct Instructor of Flute at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and she accepts private students. Ms. Cawley has been recognized in national and international solo and chamber competitions, and she maintains an active performance schedule through UAH, the Nashville Reading Orchestra and Harvest Arts.
